HCYC is pleased to have Cindy Uecker as our Artistic Director.
Cindy holds a B.A. in Education with a major in music from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, and a Master of Music Education from Portland’s Lewis and Clark College. She also holds an Orff-Schulwerk Certificate from the University of Denver. With over thirty years of choral education and conducting experience, she is currently the choral director at Liberty High School, A member and past guest conductor of the Oregon Chorale, she also enjoys ethnic music and dance. Convinced that every child can sing, Cindy Uecker is motivated by the belief that choral education indeed enriches the spirit.
